Fractional and Outsourced Compliance Officers

Senior compliance professionals embedded in your business.

Every regulated business needs compliance professionals with the right qualifications, experience and authority. Not every business needs them full-time.

Kybri provides fractional and outsourced compliance officers across a range of roles and seniority levels, embedding experienced professionals directly into your business on flexible terms.

Fractional MLRO

A formally appointed, FIU-registered Money Laundering Reporting Officer on a part-time or retainer basis. This is a hands-on appointment with full statutory responsibility, not a name on a form.

  • Formal FIU registration and statutory MLRO appointment
  • SAR and STR assessment, management and submission
  • Ongoing liaison with the FIU and relevant regulatory authorities
  • Oversight of the AML/CFT framework and internal controls
  • Review and sign-off on CDD escalations
  • Annual MLRO reporting to the board and regulator

Outsourced compliance officers

Operational compliance roles on a contract basis, providing the day-to-day capacity and expertise your compliance function needs.

  • AMLCO (Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer): day-to-day AML/CFT programme management, policy monitoring, CDD quality assurance and management reporting
  • Nominated Officer (iGaming): the statutory compliance appointment required by GSC-licensed operators under the Isle of Man Online Gambling Regulation Act
  • MLCO (Money Laundering Compliance Officer): supporting the MLRO with operational compliance oversight, internal reviews and training coordination
  • Dedicated Compliance Officer: general compliance oversight for businesses that need a named, experienced compliance professional

Fractional Head of Compliance

Senior compliance leadership on a fractional basis, effectively an outsourced CCO or Head of Compliance. You get strategic oversight of your entire compliance function: framework design, team management, board reporting, regulatory strategy and culture-setting.

This is distinct from an MLRO appointment (a specific statutory role) or an outsourced AMLCO (day-to-day operations). A fractional Head of Compliance owns the entire compliance function: strategy, people and programme.

Who this suits

Fintech businesses, VASPs, iGaming operators, MSBs and any entity that requires compliance officer appointments but cannot justify, or does not need, full-time hires. All appointments include role-specific compliance training for your staff as part of the engagement.
